Childhood dream? Since my early years, I wanted to discover the wide variety and depths of the ocean as a marine biologist.
One sentence highlighting your role: In the age of digitization, where more than 92% of our target group globally is connected to the internet and where search engines and smartphones determine our lives, we have to optimize existing products and processes continuously, spot trends and seize opportunities to guarantee the long-term success of the company.
What do you enjoy the most about the student housing and micro-living sector? The most exciting and inviting thing about student housing and micro living is the fast changing target group: new needs, ideals, passions and enthusiasm. I’m very excited about how you can reach your audience with coordinated and well-structured content via social media and digital campaigns.
Did you study or lived abroad and if so, where? I was born in Hamburg, grew up in Hamburg, studied in Hamburg and found a challenging job in Hamburg at MPC Capital. Unfortunately I didn’t have the time or opportunity to spend time in another city or country….and because of that, I’m considering doing a master’s degree abroad.
Where did you live as a student, and how different was the student accommodation landscape back then? I was a student in Hamburg, while living at my parents’. After the first step in the direction of independence, I decided to move together with a good friend of mine near the university. I have spent almost three years in the shared flat and enjoyed students lifestyle between the exam phases.
Tell us something we don’t know about you? I love doing sports and played field hockey since I was 10 years old. But nevertheless I hate running and have skipped lots of trainings while important game preparations. To this day, I’m still taking a detour to everything that has to do with running.
Among the many projects we have in the pipelines, what are you most excited about? Very good question. I think there are plenty of things I could name now. I’m most excited about upcoming projects and related campaigns I can start with online platforms and tools.
